HISTORY MAKING:

OLYMPIC MEDAL
FOR SINGAPORE
AFTER A LONG WAIT OF
48 YEARS.

Table Tennis Women Team Semi Finals- SINGAPORE vs KOREA

yesterday was a day to remember.
the nation's all backing up on tabletennis to clinch a place in the finals for the beijing 2008 olympic games.

if you've never seen tabletennis, this match will open your eyes on how awesome the particular sport is.
those who didnt manage to catch it, omg, you'll regret for a lifetime.

never in my life i've experience the thrills, the nerve-wrecking feel, the surpress of excitement, the great amount of anxiety, the overwheming pride and happiness within etc.
NEVER I SWEAR, IN MY WHOLE 10 YEARS OF PLAYING TABLETENNIS.
it just feels soooooooooooo good, really great.

i had accompaniment whist watching it live on channel 5.
lijiong, clio, yunwei, sissy, my niece and nephew and i bet so many more were all rooting for singapore.
the 1st highlight was the second match, where Li Jia Wei's up against Kim Hyung Ah, the girl whom she lost to in Athens 2004.
tough fight through a mixture of all kinds of strokes & resulted in a complete dejavu, the same situation and disappointment repeated.

THEN to the most crucial match of the entire game- FENG TIAN WEI (up)!
heroine of the day, definitely the MVP.
i couldnt sit still when game's on.
just like what the commentator said 'every point is painful for one or the other.'

it ended with feng's opponent serving an out-ball.
the whole hall in beijing jumped and cheered loudly, including me, haha.

what a heartwrenching sight to see feng's well-deserved triumph, LiJiaWei's emotional tears, WangYueGu's hi-5, the coach's thumbs up sign and of course, a group hug from singapore paddlers.
AWW~

tmr they shall be up against the top seed, CHINA.
hope for the best but well, ITS SILVER!
what more can you ask for? =)

that's the upbeatable Zhang Yi Ning from China.

cant wait to see her performance

& WHERE IS MY HANDSOME SAMSONOV? i wanna see him taiji. haha!
